Attributes is operated by Pacific Fund Pty Ltd and runs on MM. This page describes what happens to what you give it. It is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive; if something here is unclear, use the contact form.
What is kept
The source you supply is stored, because every extracted value points into it. Without the source, the evidence beside a value would name nothing. That is a deliberate difference from other parts of MM, which parse a file and discard it.
Work done without an account is kept for 24 hours and then deleted. Work saved to an account is kept for 30 days during the pilot. The expiry is shown before you submit.
What is not kept
Your source text, the values extracted from it and any web address you supply are not written to general logs or analytics. If you use Attributes without an account, the address you connected from is stored as a one-way hash for abuse control — it can answer whether two requests came from the same place and cannot be turned back into an address.
No tracking on this site
There is no analytics tag, no advertising tag and no third-party script on attributes.com.au. Nothing here profiles you, and nothing here is shared with an advertising network.
Your work is yours
Saving an extraction does not publish it, does not make it available to another customer or product, and does not authorise its use for training. Deleting it removes the source, the results and the exports.
Where it runs
On Amazon Web Services in Sydney. Reading your source involves sending it to a language model provider for the duration of that one request.
This domain sends and receives no mail. If you receive a message claiming to come from attributes.com.au, it is forged — the domain publishes records telling receiving servers to reject anything sent in its name.
